For this part, I selected Healthcare Excellence Canada (HEC) as the professional organization I chose to engage with. I registered through the HEC Community Portal and subscribed to updates and program offerings. Healthcare Excellence Canada is a national organization that supports health and social care systems across Canada in improving quality, safety, and integrated care (Healthcare Excellence Care [HEC], 2026). Moreover, this organization brings together healthcare leaders, providers, community partners to strengthen evidence- based practice and improve outcomes for patients, families, and communities (HEC, 2026).
