Leadership in practical nursing involves collaborating with healthcare team, coordinating care, and delegating tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability. The BCCNM (2026) practice standard for working with health care assistants emphasizes the importance of clear communication, role clarity, and supervision to ensure safe and effective care delivery. I understand that effective leadership supports teamwork and promotes positive client outcomes.

Here is what I need to learn more about:

I would like to improve my confidence in delegating tasks, managing conflict, and supporting team members in a respectful and professional manner. Strengthening these skills will help me contribute to a collaborative work environment and ensure safe client care.
